Oppo Enco Buds were launched by Oppo just two days back. These are low-budget and affordable truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones that are supposed to work just like the high-end TWS earphones. The Enco buds will play a major role in the rise of the TWS earphone industry if they can deliver what the company has promised. Right out of the box, there are a few things that are very noticeable about these TWS earphones; let’s go over them.
Oppo Enco Buds First Impressions: Body and Design
The Oppo Enco Buds are very light to hold. You won’t feel tired of holding the case, not that you will need to hold it since the charging case can easily fit inside your pocket because of its comfortable oval shape. The Oppo branding at the top is very light, and it looks pretty classy, to be honest. No one would be able to take a guess at its low price because of the way the charging case looks.
Right below the lid, there’s a small light that turns green when you open the case. Opening and closing the charging case feels very easy since you can do it with a single hand. At the bottom of the case, there is general information, nothing that you will need to go through. The buds look odd but beautiful. These are not the most different looking buds, and they look quite a lot like Samsung Galaxy Buds, but still, you will be able to differentiate between the two. It is quite easy to pick the buds out from the box and place them back inside.
The magnet inside the charging case is pretty strong, and it holds the earphones pretty well. Even turning the case upside down didn’t result in the earphones falling down, which makes me feel a lot secure if I am using them for the long term. I would say the Oppo Enco Buds are “cute”. They don’t look like affordable earphones. If you have them in your hands and someone tells you they are worth Rs 10,000, you would believe them. But the worth of the earphones can’t just be decided by the way they look. It is important for the Oppo Enco Buds to deliver what it is truly supposed to - a great sound experience. Here’s what I felt about the sound delivered by Oppo Enco Buds.
Oppo Enco Buds First Impressions: Sound Experience and Fit
Oppo Enco Buds are truly exceptional. I know it’s too early to say this, but I don’t think my views are going to change. I put on the earphones to listen to one Arijit Singh song, and man, I am blown away, and I have heard a whole lot of other artists because I just don’t want to stop. I was wondering the whole time - “are these earphones really this affordable?” But I will just calm down for now and review it for a while and post my final views in a few days. The Oppo Enco Buds deliver a great sound experience. The bass is really good, and they might just be raising the standards. I have used the OnePlus Buds Z, which cost a lot more than the Enco Buds, and the bass is just better with these affordable earphones from Oppo. I am not going to delve more into the sound experience right away because there are a lot more things that I need to do before I determine how good they are. The Oppo Enco Buds fit really well inside my ears. The fit is just perfect, and the company also provides additional ear tips inside the packaging for ensuring that customers can find their perfect fit, which is standard. I have plans of taking the Oppo Enco Buds in my next run since they are sweat and dust resistant. Further, I will see how they perform while gaming. There are a few more things that I plan to do with these super affordable TWS earphones from Oppo, but more on that when I come out with the final review.
Oppo Enco Buds First Impressions: Price
The Oppo Enco Buds have launched for a price of Rs 1,999 in India. But people who purchase it between September 14 and September 16, 2021, can get it for a special price of Rs 1,799. At this price, the Oppo Enco Buds might become unbeatable in India. Even at such a low cost, they don’t feel anything short of premium, which is a good thing. For now, the Oppo Enco Buds look very exciting. The Enco Buds can truly be game-changers if they can deliver on everything the company has claimed they can. It will be interesting to see over the next few days how its batteries pan out and just how it performs during multiplayer gaming.
