Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4: Features Detailed The Mi Smart Band 4 is a significant upgrade over the Mi Band 3 that was launched in India exactly a year ago. The latest smart band from Xiaomi features a 39.9% bigger display compared to its predecessor, and this around, the panel is also an AMOLED one. On top of the screen, there’s a 2.5D curved glass as well which adds up for the overall look of the band. The Mi Smart Band 4 has a resolution of 240 by 120 pixels. The display is said to be five times brighter than the one we saw on the Mi Band 3. In India, the Mi Smart Band 4 lack NFC support, similar to its predecessors that were launched in India. In China, the Mi Band 4 arrived in two variants- one with NCF and one without NCF, but in India, Xiaomi is launching only the variant without NCF. The Mi Smart Band 4 sports a six-axis high-precision sensor that intelligently detects different types of swimming strokes like Backstroke, Butterfly Storke, Medley and so on. Also, Xiaomi says the Mi Smart Band 4 comes with 15 different sport modes like walking, outdoor running, indoor running, swimming, cycling and exercise. There’s a dedicated sleep tracking mode as well. Furthermore, the Mi Smart Band 4 also has a bigger battery compared to the Mi Band 3 and the company promises a battery life of up to 20 days depending on the usage. Xiaomi has also upgraded the entire user interface and the band now allows users to control music on the display. There are four more strap colours alongside the standard Black strap.
